January 2025: New name and new look! Shirehampton Action is the new working name of SCAF / Shirehampton Community Action Forum. We’re still the same great organisation that’s been supporting our local community for over 20 years. We’ve decided to use a working name that’s easier to remember and says what we do – lead on action for Shirehampton! It was also time to get a fresh new look to go alongside the updated name exciting plans we have coming up. Read more about our refresh in the January 2025 edition of the local Shire paper.

August 2024: Shirehampton’s first ever LGBTQ Shire Pride event happened on 12 July 2024 and featured in the August 2024 edition of the local Shire paper. We received wonderful feedback from the community. “I thought it was lovely, and a very spirited community engagement and initiative. It’s been fantastic.”
